One of the awesome things about dating a boy whose family lives nearby is that I get to do normal family things once in a while. Matt's ward put on a musical review tonight. It was so fun to see a lot of his family dressed up in fun costumes and singing! This is the finale.

Steve and Amy took Matt and I on a datey today in Salt Lake.
We went to the Spirit of Art interactive exhibit at the LDS Church History Museum.
We got to see cool artists at work (like Brian Kershisnik, the man who does tons of temple stained glass, and a woodblock printer.) Yes, we may have been some of the only people below 50 there, but it was awesome! To top it off, Cafe Rio, Forest Gump, and Pass the Pigs? Forget about it!

Before and sleepy
After. (Matt made me pose by the window for some reason.) Notice the ladies by my side!
Talia is officially my new favorite person.
I don't remember the last time my hair looked this good.
Also, I'm pretty sure she cut off about five pounds of hair. It was bad.
Sometimes all you really need is a good haircut.

Gotta say, I am a little impressed that I have stayed on this project for 50 days!
It's really fun to look back and remember a day by a picture I took, so here's to 315 more!
Today was another painting day, except this time we painted with ink and sticks. It was so fun!
I loved the way the cup looked after I poured my ink out of it.

Today I finished my homework early so Matt and I could have a datey.
We went to the Woodbury Museum at the mall, and when we walked outside, Goodwood was wafting it's delicious smell to us from across the parking lot.
We had to go. We had no choice.
We got a half rack of ribs, and when the plate came, this is all I got.
Please, sir, can I have some more?
Don't worry, I fought for my half. It was oh so delicioso.
Long live Goodwood!

I'm all about the goals lately.
One of my biggest goals this semester is to walk to class every day (or at least more).
It may take more time and freeze my bum bum, but here are some reasons why I love walking:
- I love being alone and having time to think
- I am getting healthier
- Beautiful sunsets like this
Today is good.

What possesses people to riddle their cars with unnecessary and ugly stickers? So you're from NorCal and love haters...Who cares!?
I guess this person will love me, then, because I'm hatin on their obnoxious sticker count.

Today seemed like the perfect day to do it.
So I found this frame at Michael's for 75% off, but it had some nicks on it.
I decided to spray paint it "nickel" to cover up the imperfections.
I painted it then went inside and forgot about it for about an hour.
For now, I put a piece I made a few years ago in it and hung it in the bathroom.
Hopefully I'll get some painting done this semester and switch it out for something better.
The pattern is made out of bubble wrap and tag board.
This is a print I made last semester. I actually entered it in an art show at school and am still waiting to see if I got in or not.
This is also in the bathroom.
Next project: color!

The contents of Lil Agnes.
A shot glass, Matt's sunglasses, and string cheese.
Don't worry, the shot glass had sour powder in it.
He won't take the string cheese out, and every time I ask him to he says:
"Is for snack!"
If it weren't so cold outside I'd be thoroughly disgusted.
Who knows, maybe some day that string cheese will save someone's life.
And HOW!
Oh Lil Agnes...

So on our Valentine's Date we tried to go bowling after dinner because, let's face it, we are addicted.
We waited at Fat Cats in Salt Lake for an hour, got fed up, and a minute (literally) after we left, we got a call saying our lane was open!
But we were already down the road, so we didn't go.
I promised Matt I'd take him bowling today to make up for it.
And we raced while we were waiting! (Fat Cats sure is popular.)
I actually kinda like the fingers in the corners.

He always picks the best flowers.
These got delivered a little wilted a few days ago, but they've perked up since then.
Either way, I love em!

I bought this bad boy today at Target on a Swiffer run.
Obviously, I got more than just a Swiffer.
All I need to do now is learn how to sew...

This little guy was harassing the guy in front of me in the salad line.
Only at BYU would they advertise giving blood with "cute workers."

I keep telling myself that I will keep my car clean when I get a nicer one.
But we all know that's not going to happen.
Three Cheers to filthiness!
(For the record, 1) this was definitely not all of the mess, and 2) my car is clean now.)

I promised Mo I would make her my picture today, but I couldn't resist putting two up. What a cutie!

twenty NEIN!
Today was the best day in class.
We went outside to take pictures for a project, and when we came back
we were locked out of our classroom!
And since three of us tried to get in with a made-up code, we had to wait for the door to reset.
So what did we do?
We made our own circus in the hallway.
Apparently Dan and Aundrea were circus freaks in their past lives ;-)
Look at those feet!

twenty eight: art and stairwells
I like basements with windows.
EDIT with real camera:
I've had the urge to make things lately. So much so that I couldn't listen to a word my teacher said in my two hour class tonight; I just sketched necklaces. But since I can't cast a necklace with short notice, I decided to go to DI and buy random things. I gesso'd these ugly coasters and textured them with lace. The ladies are mod podged onto wooden panels I found that already had hooks on the back. I planned to sell both on Etsy but I may just keep the ladies :)

twenty seven: exasperated
You guessed it. Still no cord.
Normally I would let this beat me and steer me off my photo challenge tracks. But I'm feeling feisty today. Maybe it's because I lost my voice and was bedridden yesterday that I feel like fighting back about something. Maybe I just have to prove to myself that I can finish this. Maybe it's because I love a challenge. Who knows.
But I will not let this setback make me lose my focus!
Get ready for an onslaught of pictures once that damn cord is found.
EDIT: I just realized that my Mac can take pictures. Duh! So until I find my cord, I'll probably be posting pictures taken on there for lack of a better method.

Mildly exasperated.
